This is a great way of practising your Pilates if you are already fit or actively involved in sport. It is also for those who like to exercise with an element of the unexpected... Balls make you wobble and this is very good!
When you place the body on a piece of equipment which is unstable, the brain naturally chooses to switch on and recruit your deepest stabilising muscles.
This makes working with on the Swill Ball (or anything that wobbles) brilliant for improving ankle, knee, pelvic, spine and shoulder stability.
It’s also a lot of fun when you fall off! To wobble is to improve!
